Marcie spent most of her childhood years with her grandmother "abuelita" while both her parents would go off to work. Till this day little shy Marcie is still learning her grandmothers Mexican ways of living and now Marcie is taking care of her 85yr old grandmother Hilaria Garcia. Hilaria is also funny with her own little ways and has made Marcie's home feel like a mexican home with broken mop and bright colored broom sticks that bring out the ivy's that are tagleing up towards the top of Marcie's roof.
Comedy was and has only been a part-time job for Marcie due to having to work a full-time normal office job to make ends meet. As times were getting harder Marcie had to make a tough decision to leave her dream behind on August 8th of 2007 to work in a hot and dry enviornment in the Middle East. Once recruited she got a job in Iraq and was housing soldiers from August 2007 to February 2009 when she received a new promotion.
This comedian is now going to bring out the funny and start her love for comedy all over to bring laughter to the warfighters fighting the war in the Middle East. Since her time in Iraq she has performed four outstanding shows and was awarded with certificates and coins from the military.
Marcie is all funny and has a great big heart that loves to hear the world laugh!
